Quickly and easily log your weights and cardio workout at your gym or in your own home so you can track your progress and know what weights to lift or distances to run or cycle etc. next time you work out.
You can now log your weights with an Apple Watch

Other similar apps give you huge lists of different exercises, most of which you are not interested in and will never do. Easy Gym Log gives you a blank canvas so you can add the exercises that actually form part of your routine.
This app is totally customisable to your own workouts.

Pros and cons of Easy Gym Log app for iPhone and iPad

Easy Gym Log app good for

I love this app! Use it every time I go to the gym! Its so nice to not have to carry a pen and paper around to track everything! Also, love that when you go to put in a new entry, it brings up your last weight used! Definitely recommended!
Finally an update, please continue to make this app better. Love it
I like the app very much and use it everyday! Only thing that would make it better is if you could organize it by the daily activity and do print outs. For example, search the app by date and it would bring up everything you entered that day.
I was looking for a simple, functional app where I could log my run times/stats (distance/time, calories burned, etc) as well as track weight training stats (weight, sets, reps, etc). After using the app for a while I do think there are a few functions or features it would be nice if this app had, such as some kind of graphing function which would allow you to graph all data points from a particular category or sub category against time to create a visual progress report. It would also be nice if the app had a section, were the user could track one or more persons body weight and measurements (bust/chest, waist, hip, etc). Other than possibly upgrading the apps appearance and adding a few more features I chose this app because it had the basic functions I wanted without a ton of extra features I wont use. Developers did a great job creating such a simplistic gym companion App.
I like that the app is uncluttered and easy to use--which means I actually use it. It tracks everything I want to track and does not need a bunch of other functionality. Perfect as a substitute for notebook to log your various workouts. Wouldnt want to add complexity, but would love for it to: 1) Track or highlight PRs so you dont have to search through each workout to find them, 2) Show the note on summary view. There is no way of knowing there is a note attached to a workout unless you drill down, 3) Have the ability to export, sync, and print the log to PC/Mac.

Some bad moments

Nice app but editing is so bad. You can only delete things. Dot does not work on the keypad. Impossible to move a set on the list. It needs absolutely an upgrade.
Simple enough app but agree with previous post. It needs an edit function and ability to add a date (if you miss entering a date, it cannot backdate). Like the customization though.
I love this app. It allows you to add your own workouts and exercises, title them as you wish and keep track of your progress. No need to carry a notebook any longer. I couldnt be happier. Simple yet perfect.
Im giving this 5 stars right now since its better than all the other ones out there. "Flex Workout Log" might seem more thorough but its buggy and has other issues. This app is simple and is does basically what you want - a way to easily log your workouts and see past workouts for each exercise. Although I gave it 5 stars (just due to the relative factor to the other apps that rated highly that shouldnt be), it could use a couple improvements: - The the section that displays your current sets needs to be bit larger or at least put a number in front of each line. If you do more than 4 sets it gets awkward scrolling to see what you did on other sets in such a small windows. Not sure why so much space is wasted for the weight /rep/ log set section - seems like that could easily be shrunk some to give more room for the current exercise set history. - Since it doesnt provide an export feature, Id at least like a way to view a workout by day. Right now, the log for the day is entered per exercise so if you wanted to review later what you did on a certain day youd have to click on each exercise and view the log there.
This was a total disappointment. I expected to see a page like the example. All I got was a lined sheet to type on. Can do that on the note pad that comes with the iPad2. Whiny is what I already do.
Not just a blank piece of paper as previous reviewer said. You have to go thru the process of adding the workout, adding the exercise, then finally adding the individual exercise session. Then it looks exactly like the pix in example. It takes maybe 5 mins effort the first time and after that its just a matter of logging in your workout. Nothing fancy, but customizable, clear, convenient, and easy to use.
